Open source tool to create bootable USB drives from ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files — copy multiple images, pick one at boot, no reformatting needed.
Ventoy lets you create a multi-boot USB drive by simply copying image files onto it. No formatting required between installs — just drop ISO, WIM, IMG, VHD(x), or EFI files onto the drive and Ventoy presents a boot menu at startup. It supports x86 Legacy BIOS, IA32 UEFI, x86_64 UEFI, ARM64 UEFI, and MIPS64EL UEFI, along with both MBR and GPT partition styles. Over 1,300 image files have been tested, covering Windows, Linux, Unix, ChromeOS, VMware, Xen, and more. Features include Secure Boot support, Linux persistence, Windows and Linux auto-installation, password protection, customizable themes, plugin framework, TreeView and List menu modes, and support for FAT32/exFAT/NTFS/UDF/XFS/Btrfs/Ext2(3)(4) on the main partition. Ventoy can also browse and boot image files stored on a local disk without a USB drive. Updates are non-destructive — data on the drive is preserved during version upgrades.
