Secure email service with built-in end-to-end encryption for emails, contacts, and calendar entries, letting you communicate securely across all your devices.
Tuta Mail is a secure email service with a strong focus on security and privacy, offering built-in end-to-end encryption that lets users encrypt emails, contacts, and calendar entries across all their devices. It enables communicating securely with anyone, whether or not the recipient also uses Tuta. The client is available as a web app, native iOS and Android apps (including an F-Droid build), and desktop clients for Windows, macOS, and Linux, all sharing the same open-source codebase. The project maintains a public roadmap and tracks feature requests primarily through Reddit or direct support email rather than GitHub issues. Tuta explicitly does not accept contributions or bug reports produced with the assistance of large language models or generative AI, and maintainers will close issues or remove comments they suspect are AI-generated. The full source code, including build and development documentation, is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0.
