Native, local-first Logitech Options+ alternative written in Rust that lets users remap buttons, configure DPI and SmartShift, and manage device profiles without telemetry or cloud services.
OpenLogi is an open-source Logitech device management application written in Rust that provides a privacy-focused alternative to Logitech Options+. Designed as a local-first desktop utility, OpenLogi communicates directly with Logitech HID++ devices over Logi Bolt receivers, Bluetooth, or wired connections without requiring Logitech accounts, cloud services, or telemetry. The project includes both a graphical desktop application built with GPUI and a command-line interface for device management and diagnostics. Users can remap mouse buttons, create custom shortcuts, adjust DPI settings, configure SmartShift scrolling behavior, manage per-application profiles, and switch settings dynamically between devices. Configuration is stored locally in human-readable TOML files, giving users full control over their settings. OpenLogi currently supports macOS, with Linux and Windows support planned in future releases.
