Command-line Git information tool that displays project info and code statistics for a local Git repository directly in your terminal, fully offline.
Onefetch is a command-line Git information tool that displays project information and code statistics for a local Git repository directly in the terminal, working completely offline with a focus on performance and customizability. Often described as a Neofetch-style tool for Git repos, it surfaces details like language breakdown, contributors, license, and repository metadata at a glance. It supports more than 100 programming languages and is highly configurable via command-line arguments, letting users adjust text styling, disable specific info lines, ignore particular files or directories, and output results in structured formats like JSON or YAML. By default it shows only 'programming' and 'markup' language types, with 'prose' (Markdown, Org mode, plain text) and 'data' (JSON, YAML, TOML) types hidden unless explicitly requested. Onefetch is written in Rust and available on Linux, macOS, and Windows through package managers including apt (via .deb), Pacman, Zypper, Homebrew, and winget, as well as prebuilt binaries from the GitHub releases page.
