Free and open source 3D creation suite covering the entire pipeline: modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, motion tracking, and video editing.
Blender is a free and open source 3D creation suite supporting the entirety of the 3D pipeline modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, motion tracking, and video editing. It's used across industries for film, game development, visual effects, art, and product design. Blender ships with its own physically based Cycles render engine alongside the real-time EEVEE engine, a full node-based compositor and shader editor, sculpting and texture painting tools, a built-in video sequence editor, and a Python API for scripting and add-on development. Development happens on the Blender Foundation's own infrastructure at projects.blender.org, funded by donations, with this GitHub repository serving as a read-only mirror. Blender runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, and is released under the GNU General Public License, Version 3.
